Running Shirt & Finisher Medal

Medals & iTAB
All participants will receive a finisher medal when they cross the finish line.
Customize your medal by ordering an iTAB, a small insert engraved with your name and finishing time that fits neatly into a recess on the back of your medal.
You will receive your iTAB by mail 6-8 weeks after the Sporting Life 10K.

Wave Starts
To ensure everyone has the fastest and safest event possible, we will be utilizing an improved multi wave start this year. Participants will be assigned a corral based on the estimated finishing time they provided during registration. Corral assignments & start timing will be communicated early May.
Participants are asked to arrive at the start line 15 minutes before their assigned start time. Please make sure to give yourself enough time to park, check your bag and use the toilet before making your way to the start area.
Event Staff will direct each coloured corral into the start chute (fenced area) beginning 15 minutes before your assigned start time. Please follow instructions from Event Staff as they guide you toward the start line for the start of the Sporting Life 10K.
You can change your estimated finishing time through the Participant Dashboard, by logging in using the username and password you created when you registered. You will not be permitted to change your estimated finishing time after Wednesday, April 17 or on the morning of the Sporting Life 10K.
Walkers
Walkers are welcome! A walker is considered someone who will be walking 100% of the 10K, not running/walking. If you are planning on walking 100% of the race, please put 120 minutes as your estimated finishing time. The finish line will remain open until 11:00 am. This allows everyone two hours to complete the route, which is a 12:00 min/km. Due to permit restrictions set out by the City of Toronto, all roads will re-open no later than 11:00 am. If you are still on the route at this time, our course marshals will direct you to the sidewalks.
Course Restrictions/Limitations
Due to the size of the event and for the safety of all participants, we regret that: scooters, inline skates, bicycles, skateboards and non-service dogs are not permitted in the Sporting Life 10K.
Age Limitations:
Due to the size of the event, we ask that all children 12 years of age and under be accompanied by an adult. Children must be a minimum of 8 years old to be a registered participant. Children under 8 years of age can be a part of the event if they are in a stroller or in a baby jogger. Children in strollers are free, however, as they are not registered participants, they will not receive a run shirt, bib or finisher medal.
As safety is our number one priority, we will continue to follow the guidelines issued by the Province of Ontario and Toronto Public Health. All participants must review and follow the recommended guidelines and COVID-19 protocols mandated by Sporting Life 10K at the time of the event.
